The California League of Conservation Voters today announced their endorsement of Jerry Brown for Attorney General. The league joins a surge of recent endorsements that have gone for Brown.

Susan Smartt, Executive Director of the California League of Conservation Voters, said: “We looked at the records of all the candidates for Attorney General and came to the conclusion that Jerry Brown is the champion we need to fight for the environment. Jerry has always been on the vanguard of environmental issues. As governor he was a pioneer in expanding the use of wind, solar and geothermal power. And as Mayor of Oakland, Jerry has fought for sustainability, green construction and a commitment to renewable energy. Jerry Brown has made Oakland into one of our countries top ten green cities.”
