Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs' Association Endorses Brown

Sacramento — The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, representing more than 1700 officers across Sacramento County, announced their endorsement of Jerry Brown for attorney general. DSA Vice President Brannon Polete praised Brown’s support of local law enforcement.

Polete said: “We support Jerry Brown because he supports local police and deputy sheriffs. We are proud to join the overwhelming number of law enforcement associations across California who endorse Jerry Brown. Jerry Brown will be a tough on crime attorney general.”

The Deputy Sheriffs’ announcement comes on the heels of endorsements from The Riverside Press-Enterprise, La Opinion, and The Los Angeles Times as well as statewide polls showing Brown with a substantial lead.

Brown is endorsed by law enforcement across California including: more than 50 law enforcement and public safety organizations including the California Police Chiefs Association, The California Professional Firefighters Association, the California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations as well as Police and Deputy Sheriffs associations from all over California including Sonoma County, Kern County, Contra Costa County, San Diego County, San Mateo County, Alameda County, Marin County, Santa Clara County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Jose, Modesto, Pasadena, Huntington Beach, Riverside, Long Beach and Fresno
